Depending on where you are travelling, there may be an entry/exit fee charged at the airport. Please see below:

Dominican Republic:
When entering:
You will receive a 30-day tourist visa. Losing this visa will cost you at least US$15.
When exiting: There is a US$20 exit fee. This cost is often included in your airfare.
Passport Requirement: Passport valid up until the last day of your stay. To be safe, make sure your passport is valid for 6 months after your stay. 

Mexico:
When entering:
You will receive a  tourist card. Losing this card will cost you at least US$30.
When exiting: There is a US$25 exit fee. This cost is often included in your airfare.
Passport Requirement: Passports must be valid for 6 months after your stay. 

Cuba:
When entering:
You will receive a  tourist card. Losing this card will cost you at least US$15.
When exiting: The exit fee is included in the cost of your ticket.
Passport Requirement: Passports must be valid for 1 months after your stay. 

Costa Rica:
When exiting:
There is a US$29 exit fee that must be paid at the airport during departure. Be sure to have money set aside for when you leave.
Passport Requirement: Passports must be valid for 1 months after your stay. 

Bahamas:
When entering:
You must have proof of your return ticket when entering the Bahamas.
When exiting: There is no exit fee.
Passport Requirement: Passports must be valid for 3 months after your stay.
